Submit a Research Proposal

Instructions to submit research proposal

Following steps should be followed to make the application:

  1. The project categories which can be considered for NCG funding are: Clinical Research, Basic Research, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Translational Research, and Technology Development.
  2. The applicant should complete the details in the relevant sections of the form and submit the application through email to NCG Research Committee at the following Email ID: ncgres@tmc.gov.in
  3. The sections of the application form which are not applicable should be marked as “NA”. The subject section of the email should be marked as “Project submission for NCG review and funding” along with “project category”. The projects can be categorized into following types- Clinical/Basic/Translational/ Medical oncology/ Surgical Oncology/ Radiation Oncology/Multispecialty/ Palliative Care. More than one category can be selected as applicable.
  4. Application should include the following enclosures:
    1. Detailed protocol (both word and PDF copy with version control number and running page number on each page)
    2. Word copy of the Protocol with names of Sponsor Principal Investigator-Coordinating Centre details, and all other the participating centers details. The details of the Principal Investigators at each site should be de-identified.
    3. Detailed Budget
    4. Investigator Undertaking
  5. Once the application is made, an auto response stating that application has been received by NCG will be sent to the applicant.
  6. After the receipt of the application, NCG CRO personnel will review the application for its completeness and accuracy. If the submission is incomplete, clarifications/corrections will be sought. The sponsor PI will be requested to submit the revised proposal with version number and date of submission.
  7. A completed (with all clarifications) application will then be forwarded to the/NCG Research Committee for review and recommendation.
